Located in Shunfengshan Park, Shunde District, Foshan, Guangdong Province, Shunde Boxes Art Museum officially opened on September 28, 2017. Initially established as a non-profit public welfare institution fully funded by Shunde OCT and managed by the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA), the museum is now supported and operated by Boxes Art Museum (Foshan) Co., Ltd. The leadership team includes Fan Bo as Director, Liu Ke as Founder and Executive Director, Zhou Li as Artistic Director, You Guoqiang as Technical Director, Deng Zijun as Deputy Director, Ji Ran as Academic Deputy Director, and Deng Zhiting as Administrative Supervisor and Curator.
Boxes Art Museum is dedicated to integrating regional and international resources to present high-level artistic expressions on an international scale. Leveraging the research and educational platform of the Academy of Fine Arts, along with Shunde's local traditions and modern development, the museum bridges art exhibition, public exchange, and local culture to foster indigenous, social, and international art practices and cultural production.
