“Made in Foshan, Chinese Kung-fu” can also be interpreted as “Kung-fu, made in Foshan, China”. The advertising slogan reveals two features of Foshan, a famous Chinese manufacturing city and the city of Chinese Kung-fu. Kung-fu not only contains a kind of spiritual characteristic, but also spreads to the world. The spirit of Foshan Kung-fu grows in Foshan people, which is also the secret of the success of world-famous Foshan manufacturing industry. On March 17, the latest city image advertising video, “Made in Foshan, Chinese Kung-fu” was firstly released to the public, attracting high-end mainstream media such as people.com, Xinhuanet and China National Radio to report and spread.
5分38秒的宣传片，以功夫是稳扎稳打、功夫是精雕细刻、功夫是追求卓越、功夫是精益求精、功夫是社会担当、功夫是成就未来等七个关键句，用中国功夫之精髓和奥妙尽显佛山制造的追求，也展现了佛山立足两个一百年，构建高品质现代化国际化大城市，建设面向全球的国家制造业创新中心的雄心。
Lasting for 5 minutes and 38 seconds, the advertising video uses 7 key sentences, "Kung-fu means to stand firm and fist steadily", "Kung-fu means working with the care and precision of a sculptor", "Kung-fu is pursuing excellence", "Kung-fu is our pursuit of perfection", "Kung-fu is taking on social responsibility" and "Kung-fu means to accomplish future". It shows the pursuit of made in Foshan and the ambition of Foshan building itself into a big modern international city with premium quality and forging a National Innovation Center of manufacturing industry towards the world based on the Two Centenary Goals with the essence and secret of Chinese Kung-fu.
多年来，佛山制造和佛山功夫都向着中国最高水平迈进。佛山历届党委政府坚守实体经济不动摇、坚持制造业立市不动摇，大力传承和弘扬精益求精、追求极致的工匠精神。2017年，佛山完成工业总产值2.24万亿元，位列全国第六位。佛山以民营工业为主的制造业，以制造业为主导的实体经济，内生型的发展模式，代表了中国制造的实力水平和一种发展方向。与此同时，蔡李佛拳、洪拳、咏春拳等功夫流派在佛山发源或光大，李小龙、黄飞鸿、叶问等一代代武术宗师，奠定了佛山在中国武术中举足轻重的江湖地位。
For many years, Foshan manufacturing industry and Foshan Kung-fu are moving towards the highest level in China. Foshan government insists real economy and manufacturing industry as the basis of Foshan, and inherits and promotes the craftsman spirit of keeping improving and pursuing perfection. In 2017, Foshan accomplished 2,240 billion yuan of total industrial output value, ranking 6th in China. Lots of outstanding Foshan manufacturing enterprises appeared in the advertising video, including Midea, Country Garden, Haday, FAW-Volkswagen, Galanz, Hisense Kelon, Xingfa Aluminium, Jianlibao, etc.
该宣传片共有中、英、德、日四种语言，分为5秒、10秒、15秒、30秒、1分钟、5分钟版本，由市委宣传部组织拍摄。市委宣传部相关负责人表示，佛山注重城市形象品牌塑造和传播，希望以此宣传片对内增强市民的自豪感、凝聚力，对外提升城市知名度和美誉度。
There are four languages (Chinese, English, German and Japanese) and six versions (5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute and 5 minutes) available. The video was shot by Foshan Publicity Department. Foshan lays emphasis on building city image and promotion. The video is expected to both increase a sense of pride and cohesion and promote city popularity and reputation.
