功夫之城，擦亮名片
The name card of Kung-Fu city will be polished
作为南派武术的发源地，佛山诞生了黄飞鸿、叶问、李小龙等家喻户晓的功夫名人，随着华语电影事业的发展，佛山武术之城蜚声海内外。
As the birthplace of the Southern Martial Arts, Foshan has fostered well-known Kungfu celebrities such as Wong Fei-hung, Ip Man, Bruce Lee and so on. With the development of the Chinese film industry, Foshan is famous as Kungfu City at home and abroad.
电影周分为开幕式、闭幕式（含走红毯）、影展活动、论坛活动四项主体活动和飞鸿馆启用仪式、第六届咏春拳大赛等九项特色活动。
The film week is divided into four main activities, covering the opening ceremony, closing ceremony (including walking the red carpet), film exhibition, professional forum, and nine thematic activities including the opening of the Wong Fei-hung Pavilion, and the sixth Wing Chun Boxing Competition.
42部功夫佳作，近百场放映
42 Kungfu films to be screened
电影周主题影展活动包括经典功夫（动作）电影单元、功夫（动作）动漫电影单元、一带一路沿线国家动作电影单元和佛山光影系列电影单元和甄子丹电影单元共五大单元。
Film exhibition activities include five major units, namely the Classic Kungfu (action) Movie Unit, the Kungfu (action) Animation Movie Unit, Action Movies from countries along the Belt and Road Unit, the Foshan Movie Unit, and the Donnie Yen Movie Unit.

据了解，今年电影周报名的参展影片四十二部，将进行近百场放映。当中既有上世纪70年代的经典功夫电影，又有中国影史上的第一批院线大片；既有入围2020年奥斯卡最佳动画长片多部动画影片，又有温馨暖心的印度影片和来自白俄罗斯激动人心的动作新片，更有反映我国军人战士家国情怀的主旋律新片。
It is known that 42 films registered for the Film Week will be screened for nearly a hundred times. Among them, there are classic kungfu movies from the 1970s, the first batch of movies in the history of Chinese cinema and many animations shortlisted for the 2020 Oscar Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Moreover, warm Indian films and exciting action films from Belarus, as well as films that reflect patriotism of Chinese soldiers will be exhibited.

Donnie Yen acts as image ambassador for Kungfu Film Week
甄子丹将担任2019中国（佛山）大湾区功夫电影周形象大使。目前，甄子丹已完成形象宣传片的拍摄，他希望吸引更多人来到佛山，共赴这场光影盛会。
As the image ambassador for 2019 China (Foshan) Greater Bay Area Kungfu Film Week, Donnie Yen has completed the filming of the promotional video. He hopes to attract more people to Foshan for the film event.

届时，《叶问4》将作为开幕电影于12月17日在佛山提前展演，甄子丹将携剧组主创团队与佛山观众见面。值得一提的是，在论坛活动中，佛山将向业界推介粤港澳大湾区影视产业合作试验区。
At the film week, Ip Man 4 will be released in advance in Foshan on December 17th as an opening movie. As the leading role of Ip Man 4, Donnie Yen will meet with the audience in Foshan with his main team of the creation group. It is worth mentioning that during the movie forums, Foshan will promote the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area film and television industry cooperation pilot zone to the movie circle.

Wen Jun, Kara Wai to be judges at the Kungfu Film Week
11月27日，本次电影周推优评审会在北京举行，优秀电影人通过票选对入围的功夫电影推优项目展开评审。文隽担任本届电影周推优评审团主席，演员惠英红等担任评审。
On November 27th, the week film’s works evaluation meeting was held in Beijing. Excellent filmmakers judged the shortlisted Kungfu films by voting. Wen Jun serves as the chairman of the judging panel for the film week, and actress Kara Wai played the role of judge.
入围本届功夫电影周的影片是2017年11月-2019年10月（含）内在中国大陆院线公映且影片票房不少于 5000 万元的华语功夫（动作）电影。
The shortlisted films are Chinese Kungfu (action) movies that were released on mainland China from November 2017 to October 2019 with box offices of at least 50 million yuan.
在12月21日举行的2019中国（佛山）大湾区功夫电影周闭幕式上，推优的最终结果将会揭晓。
At the closing ceremony of Kungfu Film Week on December 21st, the final results of the evaluation will be announced.
